The effect of equal runners

Both used and new skates often have different radii in the two blades. This creates an imbalance and prevents you from using your full performance potential. Sharpening with our new Prosharp machine guarantees you an identical radius in both blades and ensures that you always transfer your full energy to the ice.

The innovative Channel-Z hollow ground joint
The deeper the hollow grind in your blade, the more it digs into the ice. This reduces your speed and agility on the ice, making skating generally more strenuous. The new Prosharp technology makes it possible to reduce the depth of your hollow grind. The so-called Channel-Z provides more speed, control and endurance.

Acceleration
The first acceleration steps on the ice can often be decisive for the game. During acceleration, the player shifts his weight strongly forward and assumes a low position. The center of gravity is therefore on the front part of the blade. The Prosharp Profliling allows a shorter radius to be set, which ensures faster weight distribution for acceleration.

Agility
Quick changes of direction, powerful translation and agile turning backwards are decisive factors in gaining the upper hand over your opponent. The center of gravity is located behind the acceleration area on the skate blade.

Speed
Improving stride length is crucial for high speed on the ice. To do this, the player adopts a low body position. The center of gravity is in the middle of the blade. The optimal weight transfer of the player is supported by a longer radius and thus increases individual explosiveness.

Stability
The best possible body control is required above all for tackling, fast turning and stability during the shot. The player's center of gravity is at the back of the blade. A longer radius helps you to improve stability when shifting your weight.

Quad Profile A quad profile is particularly suitable for players who need to perform optimally in all areas on the ice. Accordingly, the profile is particularly suitable for center forwards and defensemen. The profile supports you in the transition from the gliding phase to the skating phase and enables perfect balance on the blades. The quad profile increases your maximum stride length.

Zuperior Profile The Zuperior profile primarily supports players who rely on their speed. It is therefore the ideal profile for fast outside forwards. The profile helps you to achieve perfect acceleration paired with optimum stability. The Zuperior profile maximizes your powerful acceleration.

Single Profile The most common radii are 13 ft. and 14 ft. These profiles provide a perfect overall running experience. For less experienced players, a longer radius is recommended (17 ft.), as the longer radius increases the sense of balance.
