Starting with the face of the Bauer Vapor X2.7 Senior, the graphic consists of three main zones, one of which covers the cuff area, the next one diagonally across the palm and one on the finger part. Two sets of "spears" extend across the thumb and finger areas to enhance the design, and a digitally printed design on the top and bottom zones that offers optical design. In the zone that covers the cuff part, the added material provides for longer durability of this key area.

As the X2.7 Senior evolves, a one-piece cuff design provides a naturally large appearance for a better visual presentation of the shooter. On the pocket and closure, a 60-degree angle allows the goalkeeper's hand to sit higher in the glove, providing a full hand closure that feels better than ever. A brand new bag with maximum depth and a staggered tee has been added to give the goalkeeper a larger catch area that swallows the bag. Inside the palm, the glove is lined with nylon to give the goalie a good grip.

On the back of the Vapor X2.7 is a free-flex cuff attached, which provides the goalkeeper with great freedom of movement so he can project his glove towards the shooter. A new, fast strap has been added to quickly adjust the wrist and give the goalkeeper the confidence he needs. In the finger area sits an adjustable strap over the top to create the preferred fit and feel for each goalkeeper.
